The Lighthouse is Cornerstone Church in the community.
Our prayer is that we will shine the Light of God's love in Mossley town.
We are a community drop in shop based at 16 Stamford Street, Top Mossley, next door to the chemist.
It is open most weekdays and is organised and run by members of Cornerstone Church - Registered Charity 1057610.
Each day has a different theme, including:
Monday - Shop open 10am - 3pm and drop in plus knitting & natter group
Tuesday - Shop open 10am - 3pm and drop in
Wednesday - Shop open 10am - 3pm and drop in plus Informal Bible discussion between 12pm - 1pm
Thursday - Shop closed
Friday - Shop closed
We don't sell clothing or electrical items
We do sell used books, dvd's, cd's, bric-a-brac, kitchenware, jewellery, unopened cosmetics & toiletries, toys, games, jigsaws, new & used Christian books and gifts and any other gift idea items.
Donations of any of the above listed items would be very gratefully received.
If you have items you are unsure if we will take them please feel free to ask! We may not be able to take some of the items you have but we can always help point you in the right direction.

We have a small, very basic food bank facility which is informal and on a case by case need. We refer people with more complex difficulties to the Micklehurst food bank, bottom Mossley.
Donations for the food bank are welcome and any surplus stock can be redistributed to the Micklehurst foodbank.Our food bank and its effect is monitored and reviewed from time to time and may be subject to change..
Cornerstone Church, (now almost 26 years old!) is an independent Christian Church, meeting every Sunday morning at Baden House on Carrhill Road, Mossley (where the Scouts & Guides meet)
10:30am for at 10:45am start.
All are very welcome! Join us for a chat and a cuppa before the service. We never do anything without first having a brew!
